The kick-off meeting of EUHeritage project (a Sector Skills Alliance project for Design and Delivery of VET) was conducted in 18 – 19 February 2019 in MUSMA (Museo della Scultura Contemporanea) at Matera, Italy, launching the project activities.
During the two day meeting, partners had the opportunity to present their organization, contribute their opinions, expertise and advice based on their roles and schedule the project tasks of the forthcoming project activities.
EU Heritage is a three year EU transnational initiative that brings together 10 partners from 7 European countries (Italy, Spain, Greece, Germany, Malta, Romania, Belgium) with different specializations.
The project which is coordinated by Materahub, aims to create a new transnational curriculum for cultural heritage professionals, focused on digital skills, transferable and transversal competences, soft skills and skills connected to “experience tourism” in the field of cultural heritage.
The first day of meeting in Matera closed with a small event entitled “Cultural Heritage and (Digital) transformation” in cinema “Piccolo”. The event was open to all, organized by Materahub and included presentations of cultural organizations of the European partners of the EUHeritage project, who brought their testimonies to the initiatives carried out in the sector.
